At our kitchen, the most important thing is to use fresh, high-quality ingredients for cooking, so our menu changes seasonally.
Our menu is a wonderful list because we strive to bring truly high-quality dishes to your table. We are modest in our selection but generous with flavor. Our head chef and manager of Penzion Resje, is the creative director of the dishes that draw on Slovenian traditions, prepared in a modern way. You'll find everything from cress slices to steaks on our menu. The stars of our kitchen are cold-smoked pork and trout. We also pay close attention to wine selection to accompany the food. All our wines are of Slovenian origin and come from various vineyards, offering a diverse selection for everyone. We also update our wine list seasonally. We're always happy if you call us before your visit and reserve a table.
The restaurant is located in the same building as the rooms. If you are a guest, you can come for breakfast right in the slippers.
The restaurant is divided into 4 zones, in front of the counter, in a separate room, a terrace next to the house that connects to the garden with slides (carousels) for children and a covered terrace on the back side of the house. In winter, it accommodates up to 50 guests, and in summer, up to 110 guests.
During lunchtime, we offer lunches, in the afternoon, and in the evening we serve dishes to order. For closed groups, the best choice is a separate room or covered terrace, for families and guests with pets, the terrace next to the house, for families also the space in front of the counter, where we have a large wooden table with benches and board games.
