Our story began in 1843 with farmer Franc Medja, who built a farm you can still see the initials F. M. on the stone portal today.
For the farm and our family, a pivotal moment occurred in 1908 when our grandfather, Jožef Berc, became the owner of the farmstead. The truly significant moment, however, was in 1954 when Ludvik and Rozalija Berc decided to abandon farming and instead embrace the challenge of tourism.
