Gostilna Danilo has a long tradition, now in its third generation. Located in the Reteče settlement near Medvoda and Škofja Loka, it is run by the Čarman family.
The culinary legacy began with grandparents Nine and Gašper Čarman, who still manage the restaurant. Their children, Vesna and Dušan, continued to build on the restaurant's reputation.
Today, Gostilna Danilo offers a modern take on traditional Škofja Loka and Gorenjska cuisine. Expect delicious local dishes, including the famous Škofja Loka honey. You can also try traditional dishes like the pšenica kaša (buckwheat porridge with bacon).
The restaurant also offers a selection of fine international dishes, sure to please even the most discerning palates. Try the goose liver with apricots and hazelnuts for a truly unforgettable experience.
